Do It Like a Madman

The Amazing Race - Season 13, Episode 5

Is it really only episode five? I feel like I've been watching this season since my bar mitzvah. So...remember when Jason and Lorena started the leg way behind everyone else, and clearly had no shot in hell of catching up, and how boring that was? And they were only a couple of hours behind. In this leg, everyone manages to equalize themselves on their trip to Cambodia except Aja and Ty, who are so far behind, they may be doing tasks on a different day.

In other words, it totally doesn't matter if Terence and Sarah get stopped for speeding and their boat breaks down (which they do, and it does). And it totally doesn't matter if the moronic divorcees screw up yet another Detour (which they do). And it totally doesn't matter if the Fratties flail around and Dan whines yet some more (which they do, and he does). Aja and Ty are so far behind, that by the time they check in at the mat, the other teams have probably started the next leg. They get the booting that has been obviously been coming from minute one of this leg, and Ty promises to move to LA to make the relationship work. That's nice. Now, about this race. When will it become "Amazing", as promised?

Overall Grade: C-

I know! I just can't make myself keep up with this season; it's so damn dull.
